Pros
Years later and working well. Still annoyed by lack of instructions but durability is good. The * to attach the soft close to the door rail are a bit tricky to figure out. Had to do a bit of tweaking on my door from hd but end result is fantastic.

The originals were much heavier and a grey but these ones work perfectly on my doors even when you push them hard.
They also install very easy and as i said blend in so they are not at all noticable!
The piston unit is almost entirely plastic and feels a bit flimsy.
Still annoyed by lack of instructions but durability is good.

If you never installed before you have to go to utube and find a video which consumed a lot of time

I installed it by attaching it close to the door stop in the closed position see photo

Then i lined up the door catch in between the two tabs and screwed it to the door
