They’re not tight but do make it difficult to slide up the sleeve to see your watch if you put the elastic over your watch

The fur collar is a little irritating at first as it rubs up on your face and seems kind of bulky and in the way but when its cold and windy out it works perfectly at blocking the cold and keeping your neckchin warm so therefor i would not want it gone
