Pros

After the failure of my 5 yr old polaris i hope this one lasts. My previous ones (2) zodiac mx6 and mx8, are junk compared to this one. Do yourself a favor and just buy it!

It climbs my pool walls, scrubbing as it goes. The bottom is a bit bumpy and this vacuum rolls right over it with no issues and cleans great! Does a partial climb up the wall to my surprise. Lastly, it’s very large.

Water makes it weigh less, but crates resistance too. The only downside to this robotic cleaner is that it doesn't work on stairs.

Cons

Even with the micron filter it still doesn't collect the fine coagulated stuff. We baby our stuff and both were junk. The inconsistency raises questions about its wall-cleaning functionality.

Unit constantly tangles it's cord, and misses most of the pool. The cord twists upon itself immediately and shortens the lengths to which the vacuum is able to travel. Also, the cord twists up restricts it from its full range.

The maytronics robot can be operated without an internet connection or with their app on a smart phone. Once it starts a cleaning cycle, anywhere between 5-10 minutes into the cycle the robot stops and i get a red light on the power console.

Best vacuum i have ever owned for my 24’ radiant pool.

Very simple to use and does a very good job of cleaning the bottom of the pool and up the sides as well.

Ever since i got it i don’t have to do anything to my pool beside at chemicals every 2 weeks and stick the vacuum in every 3 days .

After only one use it picked up 90% of the debris in my pool that had accumulated during my exhausted search for a new vacuum.

Price

And still love it so much it’s pricey, but it’s worth every penny.
