Pros

The timer has 3 settings with 6/10/12 hours which is very nice to supplement sunlight during the short days of winter. My only complaints are the placement of the timer switch and the lack of a memory function on the timer.

The bulb isn't too bulky or big and it feels quite sturdy. This bulb makes for a great and sturdy growing light and it comes at a good price.

I really love how this bulb has a timer on it. The timer controls are right on the bulb and easy to activate. Memorizing the button presses would help.

We want to hang plants in front of the wall where the recessed light shines down. For a living room with no overhead fixture, it lights the whole room.

Cons

The light quality is pleasant, but one bulb fully burnt out within less than a year and the other two flicker nonstop. Shut off after 12 hrs and came back on after another 12.
