Pros
Ice maker works great, much nicer than icepacks. It lasts a lot longer and an even cold temperature than gel packs or ice. Using the frozen water bottles cuts the ice use down enough that our ice-maker can keep up.
Used this for swelling after knee replacement surgery. Great for targeting specific areas on my knee for swelling and pain. Comes with a pad for the knee.
Cons
Very misleading listing. Very loud noise and question the safety of the this machine. Buy local and do not go through this company.

Quality
The universal pad has great coverage and is lightweight so there is no irritation on healing incisions.
Using the frozen water bottle method is very convenient and the unit stays very cold for about 2 hours.
The hoses attach to the pad easily and the unit automatically turns on when it is plugged into an outlet.
We froze mini water bottles and filled the machine.
Price
This machine may cost a few bucks, but it is worth every penny of it for the pain relief it has given me.
Works great, much nicer than icepacks and was about $70 less than my dr wanted for the same thing.
They offered to sell me one for about $225, but i found the same thing on amazon for about $40 less.
I was curious on how much the unit cost so i looked it up on amazon.

I have had knee replacement and hip replacement surgeries and used frozen ice packs and ice cubes in an ice bag but never do they fit the entire area

I was given the iceman classic at the hospital after reverse shoulder replacement surgery and was told to use frozen water bottles the shoulder unit covers the entire shoulder area

We have ice packs we keep in the freezer but they dont provide the cold for as long as my wife wants
