Pros & Cons
Pros
This is the sling i was sent home in after surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff. It's made with a mesh - way to clean, quick to dry. The size is true to the chart.
Comes with a removable squish ball to exercise your arm tendons and muscles while your arm is immobile in the cast. The soft squeeze ball is easily removable though never in the way.
Billed insurance 250. No downsides at all with this product. It hs all the basic features of the one i was given plus several more. Well worth the extra cost.
Cons
The pad and the strap under it are garbage. The padding on the strap is poor. The o-ring that is part of the strap sits uncomfortably in your rhomboid.
There is only 1 pro for this item. There is a big, bulky seam right where your elbow rests. Granted, this is the only sling i've ever worn, so maybe the others are just that bad that this thing somehow gets rave reviews.
The support pillow is huge and awkwardly shaped. Constantly have to readjust length of sling and pillow attachment.

The ultra sling iii is so much better than the ii.
The ii only has a felt-like material for the entire sling which doesn't breathe and looks like it wouldn't dry as fast (we got ... Read More
