The clip fits perfectly with zero wiggle. If you insert the ring slightly angled toward the notch and lever it back and down it'll get it closer to catching.

Cons
Save your money there's a good chance this ends up in a drawer or the trash can. It's a very tight fit. Once it's installed it makes the tools on that side nearly impossible to deploy. It says it fits the wave.
