Pros

It comes with 1 polarity converter cable (usually needed for older fuzz pedals) it works great. Using the 9v outputs for standard effects (chorus, delay, ns-2 and harmonist) and 18v for ep boost through a boogie f50 combo amp.

It's a lot more compact than i realized. Stuck this onto the bottom of my diy board with some dual lock. It's not isolated, but the naysayers are looking for a cheap way to power their power * pedals into it.

Klon type, friedman be-od, ts-10, sd-1 plus a ge big * all live on my board. Price is right.

If you already have a bunch of wall-warts powering your gear and no noise, then this is a good deal and helps clean things up. I haven't dug too deep to see what's causing it.

Cons

As several others have commented, this is not a true isolated power supply. Too cheap to work properly this is loud and sounds terrible. The same is now true with the *-2 and *-z.
