With this game being announced for the switch it was very clear that sacrifices had to be made just to have the game run properly since the game was originally made without the switch in mind

So when i say that doom on the switch runs at 30 frames and it didnt hinder my experience at all is saying something and the reason for that is because the fastpaced nonstop gameplay of doom is still intact

It hasnt been altered negatively at all and it makes the game so much of a blast to play no matter if its 60 frames or 30 frames

Of course this is the switch were talking about so there are gonna be some frame hiccups here and there but it really depends on the area youre in and how many enemies are on screen

Ending this review with the game modes there were 3 in the ps4 version

There was the campaign multiplayer and snapmap which was a mode where you could create your own doom maps or play maps made by other players

I would most definitely recommend this port and i see this as a mustown title for switch owners who either want to play doom on the go never played the game before or who have the game on other systems but just want another excuse to play it again
