The mobile app makes it easy to configure with lots of different options. The app integration is very direct & easy to use. A very easy work around for this is to set a custom ringtone for this app.
The motion detector works well for what i need it to. The battery on the keypad lasts a long time. The door sensor and motion sensor both have full batteries still as well.
Cons
Still no motion sensor. Unless you expect the intruders to do a salsa sequence in front of the motion detectors, there's no way the sensor would sound the alarm.
The call volume to the support center is alarming that the devices are not just plugged and play they have issues. My level 1 support agent got kicked out of the queue to level 2 support and asked me to call back again.
Ring app says it needs a code to authorize your new phone. It says you have to login using an old device that you’ve signed in with successfully before. There is no support email in app, help center provides call and chat options.

Competitiveness
Z-wave plus technology is what all the other big players use, so it's a no-brainer.
I will update if i have any issues with the monitoring service, but right now it gets a 5-star rating!
