Pros

Bought this to replace a couch. The wood is solid pine and straight. Once it's together it's remarkably sturdy and tight. You have to buy a separate mattress, and a standard twin fits fine for the standard twin frame.

The espresso color is a dark brown and beautiful. It’s really cute and cozy looking. It's sturdy and very cute! Exactly as pictured.

Cons

Buyer beware. Save yourself some aggravation and buy something else. Save your sanity and do not buy this.

The slats need to be self * in to the wood, with no pilot holes at all on the rails. The side frame posts and guardrail posts are impossible to handle and insert properly.

Smells like sawdust. This daybed is a pos.

The wood on this bed has so many cracks and scratches and dents in the wood. The bed is too small for a standard twin mattress.

I would have paid another $100 for it if i had bought it in a local furniture store and not thought twice.
