The brim has a decent gauge wire running internally through the lip, which makes it so easy to shape the brim however you want it. The wire brim is great to adjust to your liking. It fits comfortably on.

The pre-distressed look is no joke. The hat looks like it has seen better days but that adds to its allure. This hat replaces a beloved hat, which met a sad and tattered end on the farm.

If you pinch/crush the crown a bit then it has a great look, imo. Crushed dozens of time and always unfolds pretty well. Comes in a plastic bag.

The size is a bit large, but for winter it allowed me to wear a beanie hat under it to cover my ears. The size chart states the xl goes up to 23. I wear a medium in other dorfman hats, but small was the better fit in this model.

The hat is way too big for my small head. If i tighten the headband to the hat stays on my head the hat is extremely deformed and ugly.
