Pros

I love the way it holds and molds my hair. It's a good holding product that isn't real stiff on your hair.

I go a couple days at a time without shampooing my hair. I at least rinse my hair every day in the shower with water alone.

The sculpting paste has a light soapy aroma, not unpleasant. This is comparable to most pastes/pomades out there. This product works very well for me at a third the price of my typical paste from redken.

Cons

Scent is a somewhat old-school barbershop smell. The hold is weak, and it leaves a glossier, almost wet look. It also makes it harder to wash out cleanly. One of the common factors is that they all swore by layrite as a pomade.

Not the same quality as the old suave matte finish paste. Unilever will eventually regret the decision they made to rebrand the suave styling paste as dove, all while doubling the price.
