Pros

Darker roasts are more forgiving of a residential grinder like the oxo. This ultimately provides a superior taste that is also easily repeatable.

no need to run vinegar water through my coffee maker every season to clear out the chalky calcification. This pastes the filter to the basket, and warms the ceramic a bit.

This drip piece is wonderful! Drips nicely with 3 spouts and so much better tasting than my former plastic pour over. The only real downside compared to the plastic one is the see through opening at the bottom of the dripper.

Cons

Cone needs to be narrower cone. Too wide for filters, therefore coffee leaks between filter and cone. If you use the medium or larger mug you'd get at ross or tjmaxx then keep looking it won't fit the top of your mug.

The chance of receiving another deformed product is very high. No letter or number inscribed or printed.

Well made, good size for 12-16 oz cup.
