The cable itself is solid and well insulated. The ports come with protectors on them which really help to keep junk from getting in there while you install them.

The quality of the cable is good.
I've only used it for a week so far, but no problems with the video display - no flickering, no loss of colours, no connection problems.
Good high quality cable, nice solid feel, a little on the thick side but i'd rather that than it being too thin.
Packaging/appearance
It worked right out of the bag, it's a truly an active display port to hdmi cable, otherwise caldigit would not have recognized it.

Have 4 displays working on an amd video card and didnt even check if eyefinity was running since it worked just in the windows setup

Had terrible monitor flickering issues

After taking apart the monitor no issue crossing out the gpu no issue and switching the hdmi 3 times i discovered that it was 3 bad hdmis
