The length of the 8 is perfect once you get your foot and heel situated, though the heel can be too tight, but the arch is tight. The patent leather is of great quality - dress up or down.

Chinese quality is not very good, but with care they still last me 4-6 years. Use as long as you apply shoe polish and maintain them. Love my new docs.

Unlike my other docs, these are pretty darned uncomfortable. It's a shame that the women's docs are made narrow just like other women's shoes.

There's a clicking/popping sound in the sole when the sole is flexed. The insole only covers the back half of the sole. There’s just hard plastic (not even a covering) under the toes and ball of the foot.
