As you can see i wear these with think long socks to start and as they break in you can wear ankle socks no problem

They definitely have a break in period and could not wear more than once a week at first because they rubbed on the top but now feel great after a month or so of wearing

The ankles were tight so i spent two days stretching them out with a gin bottle and they are much more comfortable
