The back portion of the sole is very good for it's thickness but not the front slim portion, it doesn't absorb shocks.

They are quite comfortable but quite thick on the talon so wont fit over other shoes stock insole if you are looking to replace your current insole this will do if you are looking to fir something over an existing insole you need to find an insole that is not as thick
