Pros
Don't hesitate to give it a try. That's wat i'm buying next. Anyways, buy it.
This little basic snake is a lifesaver. Nicely packaged with soft case and rubber gloves. Comes with a carrying case and we store it in the shed.
Water drains flawlessly now. Cleared my shower drain of a large clump of hair in less then 10 minutes.
Cons
The handle on the barrel is very flimsy plastic and pretty small. The process of moving the coil forward is very time consuming and slow. It's almost impossible to pass any l bend.

It is well built with a steel drum, riveted handle (handle will not fall off) and a welded nut for the thumb screw.
Worked great and fixed the gurgling sound by unclogging the pipe
Too much built up twist will kink the line, pretty much ruining it.

Took a minute or two to understand how to get pressure on the line but when i did it cleaned out a pipe that hadnt been cleaned in decades

I bought the version without the handle to fit in smaller sinks

Key thing is to not build up too much twist in the line let it untwist periodically especially when you hit an obstruction
