My mattress is 9 inches thick at the highest height setting only 5 inches is above the mattress to stopsomeone from falling out of bed

The total adjustment from high to low height setting is one inchi would have returned it if it was meant to keep a person contained

I was able to put a thin board where the feet of the base go so they stay put but they will slip down between the slats you dont and im sure the manufacturer would say not to do it that way

First off my partner installed this rail and he said the directions didnt say anything needed to be screwed in but he needed to screw in one screw apparently

It isnt higher than 3 or 4 inches above the mattress with my adult queen mattress
