These are very comfortable, very light weight, not built tough but still worth every penny .
The display pics doesn't give you the impression that material is mesh open holes.
The laces end up touching the ground, even after tying the shoes.
One of my complaints with these shoes, however, is that the laces that came with them are way too long.

Highly recommend this shoe, can't beat it for $20.
Not sure how long they last yet, but great price and fit.
Competitiveness
These are a nice pair of shoes, comparable to the champion shoes that you can find at target for $10 more.
I'd argue almost better than the nike counterparts.
