The soles are 1 12 inch in the front and 2 inches on the heel in the back

They definitely have a slight squeaky sound from the upper laceup section rubbing against the tongue of the shoe as well as some friction from the soles sections pressing down on an indoor floor but im hoping that will subside once they’re worn in more

These have waxed laces and the soles have a tiny bit of a platform feel to them because they are a bit taller than most in this style
