Highlights
Quality
It feels solid and very well made.
Over the years i've found dremel products to be well made and durable.
Slide the new blade on release the blue button and then tighten the screw back up and you are going.
This led to a high amount of vibration and the blades continually coming off.
Price
I was able to do the entire job for under $200 including the retail value of the gifted saw.
For the price, this is an excellent value and i expect that it will have a long service life.
The repair was quoted as $400 in materials and $400 in labor.
But i am always on a tight budget so i have been using a harbor freight oscillating multi tool for years.
Shipping
The day it came it was put to use.
We searched for a new one that we could get quickly and found this one.
Packaging/appearance
Nice package that includes some accessories and a zippered bag.
So when i first opened the box for those tool, i was a tad shocked.
Competitiveness
I got this one as a backup since it was a great deal and it is almost as good as my bosch model.
You can't go wrong with dremel brand powertools.
I had a cheap off brand that failed and i replaced it with this and the difference was completely night and day.
If this is to be used more frequently, other brands of oscillating multi tools have cheaper blades and may be cheaper in the long run.
