Pros
The fan is efficient and functions well. This does the trick for sure. It's a dreo fan so you know it's awesome. Meantime, it works great as a fan.
It's not silent but it's pretty quiet. A definite positive. It's quiet in lower speed modes and may be a bit too noisy on high speed for light sleepers.

Fan has several settings, but i find it kicks out a powerful breeze even on the lower settings. The mountains (and cabin) cool down significantly at night so the speed control and timer come in handy.
Rooms at one end are always colder in summer, and the other end is hotter. I foresee it lasting many years & will be using it almost daily in the spring/summer.
Cons
The evaporative motor does not work and putting water or ice inisde does nothing because the motor to start the process is dead and then returned and resold. The instructions say you can't use it in an enclosed space. Just an overpriced fan.

This is so easy to clean, as the grille comes off and makes it much easier to get out the dust and mineral residue left from water.
Really happy with this fan, the timer feature works great, and the range of oscillation is exactly what you’d want in this type of fan.
+the lights on the panel do not stay lit - which means no annoying glow at night.
The first press wakes up the display then you have to press the button again to do whatever you intended.

I love it i would definitely recommend and a good price also
Again, not an air conditioner but a powerful affordable machine and a life saver for those dangerously high temps.
At this price point, you get a mini ac, evap coolor and fan.
At a very fair price point considering the quality.
Competitiveness
I would recommend this as an inexpensive alternative to pricier evap coolers or freestanding ac units.
While the unit is not as effective as a traditional air conditioner, it is a more environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative.

Ice packs are melted in about 3 hours here as our humidity is always high especially in summer

They do lower the temperature a few degrees but you have to keep checking the ice packs or water if you want that extra cooling effect
