It shoots air across the room with ease. I had my carpets cleaned and brought out the fans to hasten the drying process.
Speed 1 is a small gushing sound much quieter than the ambient a/c units humming outside all night. I love how it rotates as well. It has adjustments that you can use to rotate the fan on different speeds, or shut rotate off if you want.
Cons
Fan is useless to us as it has to be placed on top of a 7' bookcase which would require use of stepladder to turn the fan on and off. The vertical stop (fan up to the ceiling) of adjustability is pointless for most. The 30° increments for adjustments ... Read More

Love this fan, works very well and the fan power is great.
