The stretch fabric means its more forgiving on different types of figures but the fit generally is true to size

There is a kind of slipapron under the ruffles at the front so that neither the wearer nor anyone looking at them will be surprised by unexpected gaping

The arms are cut well and the ruffles are wide enough they dont catch on your knee or buckle or do anything silly when you move or dance

My only gripe with it is since its velvet the smooth velvet is felt when you run your hand up the dress not when you run your hand down

If anyone has tactile issues though just be sure velvet isnt going to drive you crazy
