Pros & Cons
Pros
Adjustable and adjustable rising leg rests- sturdy seating, even for my heavier family members. Easy fold up for travel and is a sturdy, well made product. It's a little stiff for opening and folding. The pros outweigh the cons.
It's easy to push around and lightweight to load. Handles well on cement, carpet, wood floors. Its lighter without the leg rests attached but not bad either way.
Cons
The foot rests on this wheel chair are plastic. Two defective chairs and a lack of empathy.
The noise is extremely loud. It is supposed to be rated up to 350 pounds. The product weight is specifically stated as 8 pounds in three different places in the product description. It weighs over 30 pounds, not 8 lbs.
It just swings around with my foot oon it & is very uncomfortable. There are no adjustments amputee) to touch the floor.
Unfolded and the wheels were crooked. Detachable foot holders are not very easy to deal with (clumsy/bulky) when chair is folded. Without someone continuously squeezing the handbrakes, the chair is too unstable for safely mounting or dismounting.
Highlights
Quality
I am very happy with the chair.
Couldn't be happier with it's quality and value.
Footrests were not included in box -- very disappointed.
Price
Am not trying to get this into and out of a car; so, the weight isn't an issue; however, it is heavier than i would be able to manage.
Packaging/appearance
Seems sturdy and was ready to use right out of the box.
One of the arm rests the plastic cover was loose on one edge out of the box.
Arms swing up to the back out of the way, or completely remove if needed.
Competitiveness
We have a heavier more expensive chair by another manufacturer.
Bit of a challenge getting in a vehicle.
