It is heavier than plastic (obviously). Usually anything metal arrives with some damage, but this is the first thing i've gotten in a long time that arrived in perfect condition, due in part to the hard powder-coating and smart packaging.
Cons
The rubber mat was shipped loose in the package so that the plastic bag everything was shipped in became permanently attached to the back surface of the mat. The stool is strong and can hold 300lbs easy, but what good is that when they put plastic run... Read More

Its a little bulky to maneuver inout of my car because it doesnt fold however i knew it wasnt a folding stool when i purchased it and wanted a nonfolding stool because i felt it would be more trustworthy than a folding stool
