Pros

She is very pleased how easy it is to now navigate up and down in the bathroom since she has knee and hip issues. The only drawback is that it is better to be used with an elongated toilet bowl.

Cons

- extra-long bolts with wing nuts are supplied with the seat.

Now the seat arm rests foul with the bidet control so i've had to install this seat minus the arm rests.

My father found his feet not reaching the ground when sitting on this

Only issue is that the bolts supplied dont secure the seat completely probably because the existing seat has a quite unique fastening system

However i did need to purchase a different style toilet seat if you have a kohler lid with plastic fastening clips covers that hold the seat to the toilet this seat wont work

Not sure why someone earlier suggested it needs sealing to the toilet to prevent 34dirties34

Purchased one of these seats and discovered within only a few days that it requires some kind of splash guard to prevent nasty stuff from getting in between the rim of the toilet and the bottom of the seat riser especially around the seat bolts

Since the riser seat is held on the toilet with the seat bolts it is very inconvenient having to undo the bolts to clean the thing every few days
