I compared the length of the wheels to the leg i was replacing and that way i knew what hole to use so that the height adjustment would be the same as the original parts it was replacing

Theres a right and left so the wheel is facing the outside of the walker

You do have to be aware that if on a slope the walker will tend to roll away if you let go of it
