Pros

Great protection from falls. This protects her from injury. Every morning it can be easily folded and put out of the way. It folds easily to slide under a hospital bed until needed.

This mat fills our need perfectly. This seems about as thick as the mats are used at a rehab facility for a relative.

Cons

This mat is too soft for protection from a fall. It doesn't grip the hardwood or carpet and stay in place. This product is cheap flimsy foam which wouldn't absorb much impact.

Firm, yet safe if my loved one does ever fall out of the bed.

Excellent safe guard for my 92 year old mother in nursing home who is a fall risk.

She ended up falling and breaking 2 fingers and slicing her ear open 2&1/2 inches getting 5 stitches in it.

It is thick and good quality, but a bit smaller than i anticipated.
