The vent is excellent, heavy duty, and has a safety flap so critters can’t get in. It's a much tighter seal than the plastic flaps on the old vent. The metal is very thick and heavy and won't be vulnerable to gnawing critters.

It was so easy to install and i great quality!
This duct vent pipe is made with the standard thin stretchable stainless steel material that is supposed to be rustproof and windproof.
It also has fingers that expand causing it to securely engage with the pipe, even before you have installed the screws.

Cut a 434 hole in the wall where you want it shove it in the hole from the outside and screw it down

It included enough 434 aluminum foil exhaust tubing with retaining rings to reach from the vent to your dryer but im not using those for my application so i have no opinion of them

The vent opens smoothly and closes tightly again when the dryer stops

The flap is quite lite so id be dubious about installing in where a mouse might would have easy access
