Hm-10 works fine with arduino uno. Works just fine with laptops and android phones. Works perfectly with my laser tester app built on ble. Great for arduino, ios, android projects.
Unlike arduino schematics poster, it's very easy to connect to a teensy. Use the light blue ios app to read and write data. For short-range distances, and medium-speed data transfer, these are excellent solutions to quite a few design problems.

I have purchased a number of hm-10 bluetooth boards for various projects and half of them have been "fakes".
It worked without a voltage divider for me but then failed.

Just use a serial terminal such as the arduino one and set it to 9600 baud

Send 34at34 without the quotes but in caps to the board through the serial monitor and it should reply with ok

Be sure to configure the baud to 115200 by sending the atbaud4 command to make it compatible

If you are not familiar with ble module you should try this one first because you have to know how the ble module is expected to behave
