Pros & Cons
Pros
Upgraded to a very high quality, classic dac and needed a usb port. After a couple of weeks of listening i'm happy to report that the unit is completely neutral.
Highlights
Quality
Upgraded to a very high quality, classic dac and needed a usb port.
Works well and also sends the correct base line optical signal, so that the connection is recognized before any audio is played.
Have to turn phone up almost all the way and that seems to distort the sound enough to be noticeable.
The link between the devices remains when skipping tracks or when the walkman is on pause or stopped.
