Pros
This is just nicer all round, from the casing to the switchable voltage and the lights. Well made board with connectors.
Set this to 3. V or 5v. No more shorting stuff on the bench. V 2. V 1. V ttl is selectable.
Cons
The picture shows all bare pins, one expects 9-pins to fit straight into a 9-pin serial socket. Have been sold a pup, no good.

Quality
Well made, with transparent acrylic case and very good quality built components and doesn't look those cheap chinese products.
Excellent product flashed tasmota to my sonoff basic without any issues.
The inflexibility and quality was very good.
With the connections some schematics refer to dtr, this is the same ad rts with this module.
Price
I'm very happy with this product, it works perfectly out of the box and the asking price is fair.

Competitiveness
I ended up using the individual solid cores from a cat6 cable and these were quite a good fit.
Great job to update firmware on my sonoff devices
A good compromise between the unreliable cheap ftdi devices and the expensive units available from ftdi themselves.
Works great with windows 10 once the driver is installed, used to flash a sonoff pow r2
