Pros & Cons
Pros
Watt device works fine for my pi, sensors and gps. It gets pretty warm under 15+ watt load, but i assume it can handle it since it isn't actively cooled. I am pretty happy about this product and hope it will be durable.

Competitiveness
Works well with linksys velop whw03 model that i mounted in an outdoor box.
Worth an extra couple of bucks, and no issues with an 18-watt device.
I needed a fairly high-power poe+ splitter - the p/s for my mini pc claims max 1.
