Set your camera and lens up with the lens set to its widest aperture. Shooting tethered helps move the process along quicker. I always calibrate a lens when i buy them and this is perfect for that!
Cons

They work great and are so much cheaper than the alternatives.
I've had this nikon d750 for a few weeks and focusing on my 24-120mm lens seemed off.

You really need to fill at least half the frame with this target to avoid pixelation and to really see the depth of field and that means a distance of a foot or less for a wide angle lens four or five feet for a stronger telephoto lens

I started with a fullframe nikon and bought only better prosumergrade lenses but was disappointed that my shots were not very sharp

It might be useful to attach plywood or something that is flat and has a bit of weight to the bottom of this
