It fits into the hot shoe on the top of the camera and doesnt allow the shoe to be used with the grip in place

I would have liked there to be some form of grippy material where the thumb rests but this fits well withon the camera

Though not specifically advertised as being compatible with the xe2s the xe2 and xe2s share the same body so this will work on both cameras

While subtle it makes the camera much more comfortable to hold it also dramatically reduces the likelihood that you unintentionally move the exposure compensation dial on the rightside of the camera

It does what its supposed to do and i like having it on the camera xe1
