The part works as expected, though it doesn't lock in like an 1/8 phono jack does. Had some trouble lining up connection at first, but no problems since. Great little connector cable.

Cons

The three holes on this chord are too small in diameter and the pattern is off. I have to wiggle the cord to get it to work and then it will not be reliable. Returned to amazon for a refund.

I would recommend this to anyone if you can wait a little longer for delivery.

Got here fast and worked perfectly for upgrading my canon rebel's equipment for my 7d.

On the flip side, it only took a week and a half to two weeks to arrive.

And oh yea, delivery was much faster than the 3-4 weeks i was promised.
