The displayport plug neatly locks into place and is easily removable by pressing on the latch atop the plug. The vga end is not bulky and will connect easily to most monitors. The quality of cable is good.

The problem i had was that the side to side width of the vga plug just barely exceeded the width of the receptacle so it would not allow the plug to seat
