Prior to putting this device inline my dell computer would detect a display but would not pass video. After installing this there was no detection. Would not work with a 15ft cable to an overhead projector, tried with and without the power adapter.

It works great we moved it to a closet to hide the wires and get wifi all over the house
Worked right out of the box with no problems.
I have to turn on the shield, the receiver, and the projector, otherwise, the signal won't pass.

Often times have to reset the receiver or unplug the hdmi cable

I am running regular 4k fiber optics cables from my nvidia sheild and 4k bluray player to the denon reciever so there should be no issues unless its incompatible with the mavislink 8k hdmi 2
