Pros

Cable works between my linux (debian stable) pc and the serial console jack (a 9-pin male d-sub) on the nvidia jetson tk1 board. Tried it on my ts-570dg and hrd.

Worked like a champ! Worked fine. Works as advertised.

Very nice packaging. Great quality. Timely delivery. Fast delivery. Would highly recommend.

Cons

Either the dtech prolific chip is fake or the db9 end of the cable isn't pinned properly. To download drivers is a mission, the customer support is awful, would stay away.
