Pros & Cons
Pros
Works well for serial booting/ debugging bare-metal raspberry pi with gdb. The three sockets provide the signals i need (tx, rx, gnd) no issues with linux on pi400.
Cons
It seems the adapter is defective, although it would of been nice to verify with support if this was the case. Tried multiple driver versions and com ports, same issue.
Highlights
Quality
I always go for the ftdi-based cables because i've had trouble with the prolific-based ones in the past.
Wish it came with male pins, but that was easy to fix with the extra length ordered.
