The picture quality could be better of course if everything was hdmi but we cannot afford to run hdmi 150 feet away from the pc so vga was the way to go for us

Before i could not have 1080p sent on the vga it would not make it to the end of the 100 foot vga cable

Ddc2 works so the computer was able to detect the native resolution of the projector
