I bought this cable to fix a router i had “bricked”, when a custom firmware install failed.
Apparently the chip included in this dtech cable does not support the inversion, or it is not documented.

I cant really verify whether mine was counterfeit but it showed up as a 34prolific pl2303gc usb serial com port34 in device manager on windows 11 immediately without having to hunt for drivers

Included with the cable was a small pamphlet serving as documentation as well as a pinoutschematic of whats inside the slightly oversized usb connector

The documentation was a bit confusing as the serial connection voltage was shown as 5v but the cable was 3
