Phenomenal life compared with the original - about 7 hours on a full charge: only managed 2 when new and about 30 mins at the end!
The battery for the old acer aspire finally gave up the ghost after nearly 9 years.

Don’t waste your money on the cheaper versions if you are wanting to ensure accuracy for a child.

It is not the same shape as the oem supplied one having additional cells in a bulge below the laptop base
