It did fit and i was thrilled to find it actually lasted a good amount of time around 23 hours when on with microsoft office software google drive apps open

I spotted another e6230 on ebay for a low price as it had no battery or adaptor lead and one key the f1 key missing

I used to use my main computer which was a windows 8 for family tree research but unfortunately i accidentally spilt a drink of red bull over the keyboard so replaced that with a new windows 10 laptop but that proved to very very slow then found that my favourite paint shop pro 9 would not load on the windows 10

Normally quite wary of unofficial batteries for laptops as i have been burned in the past with just terrible quality ones
