Highlights
Quality
Everything seams to be fine and i'm happy with the product.
This looks to be a very versatile product.
(update: i think this issue had more to do with the faracent extension cable i was using.
I wanted to wait a while to give my review, but after spending a couple months with the device i gotta say i still really like it.
Packaging/appearance
I'd like to send it back, but im pretty sure i don't have the packaging anymore.
Competitiveness
Perfect for working remotely amd connecting a laptop to a home network.
This did not work with my lenovo ideapad 330.
Granted i only bought 2 others but the one thing this has over it’s competitors is that it worked out of the box.
Overall a great value for a usb-c / thunderbolt 3 dock.

After doing some research on my specific laptop i realized this is a common issue that affects all typec hubs after updates

I wanted something that wouldnt leave me making too many compromises and i wanted all my devices to connect through the back of the device to clean up my setup
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Has an ethernet and 100 watt passthrough charging however as stated the hub does use some 1315 watts for its own use which is totally understandable given this devices capability
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Surprisingly the device does not get very hot even under full load with passthrough charging

An example would be connecting a usb hub to the back to connect more hardwired peripherals such as keyboards and mice without obstructing the front of the device

One thing i will say and again this is most likely just my laptop specifically dell xps 9300 is that sometimes i get annoying notifications that my usb devices are not recognized and may not be working properly even though everything is working fine

I would 100 recommend this device to anyone looking for a nofrills typec hub as a docking solution
