Gameplay Pace
Customers have mixed feelings about the gameplay pace of Dungeon Siege II. While many enjoy the hack-and-slash and RPG elements, some find the game to be slow due to the fixed maps and lengthy boss battles. Others appreciate the variety in quests and the potential for character customization but note the presence of bugs.

The game in its basic format, even with the patches available online, has some pretty major bugs as well.
Getting the expansion will get you the third patch made by the game producer, which is unavailable by other means.

Price

Some of the quests are also not accessable at all unless you have picked up specific npcs as group members

With a cap of 4 group members at the base level range the most balanced group is one of each catagory
