Built in valve means you don't have to turn off the water to change the filter.

Cons

Took 15+ windings of teflon tape to get this to not drip at all. The 3/4 inch threaded holes on the sides are too big.

To say i am disappointed with this product is a * understatement. Any iso quality certifications should be cancelled pending investigation and corrective action.

Apply a thin film of petroleum jelly to the o-ring mating face of the valve head. The orfice in the valve assembly is also only 1/4 which drastically reduces water flow.

This product has two very major manufacturing & design quality issues.
